DALLAS, TEXAS, 2020-May-08 — /Travel PR News/ — Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) announced today (May 7, 2020) its frequent flyer program, Rapid Rewards®, held onto the Freddie Awards title of Best Customer Service for the eighth consecutive year. The Rapid Rewards Program was also named Best Redemption Ability and Best Loyalty Credit Card and Program of the Year for the fifth year in a row.

“We thank each and every Customer and Member who voted for Southwest’s Rapid Rewards Program. We are thrilled to win in four categories at this year’s Freddie Awards,” said Jonathan Clarkson, Managing Director of Marketing. “These results reinforce what has always been our intent with Rapid Rewards, which is to offer a program with a unique and unparalleled combination of flexibility, ease, and great places to fly to.”

Last year, Southwest added more flexibility to the program announcing Rapid Reward points would no longer expire, and continues to have no blackout dates, unlimited reward seating and much more. Visit Rapid Rewards for information on the program and the latest offers.
