SFO/SAS Announce “#SFOadventure” Photo Contest on Instagram & Twitter

Social media contest to award round-trip tickets on Scandinavian Airlines

SAN FRANCISCO, 2013-04-01 — /travelprnews.com/ — The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is welcoming Scandinavian Airlines’ (SAS) new non-stop service to Copenhagen by hosting a social media photo contest. SAS begins flying non-stop to Copenhagen, Denmark six times per week on April 8, 2013.

The “#SFOadventure” contest invites travelers to capture their spirit of adventure through photos using Instagram or Twitter. Entries will go into a random drawing, and a lucky winner will be awarded two round-trip Economy Class tickets on SAS to Copenhagen.

“We’re delighted to host this contest to help celebrate SAS’ new non-stop service to Copenhagen,” said Charles Schuler, Associate Deputy Airport Director of Communications & Marketing. “This new service gives our customers another choice for their travel adventures.”

The contest is easy to enter. Photos can be shared by including the hashtag #SFOadventure on Instagram (instagram.com/flysfo) or Twitter (twitter.com/flysfo). Entries are welcome between April 1, 2013 and April 15, 2013. The winner of the random drawing will be announced on April 16, 2013 at 11:00am PDT.
