(PRESS RELEASE) DUBAI, UAE, 2025-Jul-17 — /Travel PR News/ — SailGP, the world’s premier sailing competition, returns to England’s south coast this summer in partnership with Emirates. As Title Partner of the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix Portsmouth, Global Partner and Exclusive Airline Partner of SailGP, and Naming Partner of the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team, the airline will deliver an array of unforgettable “fly better” experiences on 19–20 July in Portsmouth.

Emirates will host VIP packages and top‑tier hospitality, run interactive “Spin to Win” booths with prizes ranging from branded seat cushions to an Emirates Holidays trip for two to Dubai, and staff “Snap and Keep” stations where guests can pose with cabin crew for branded Polaroid souvenirs. Fans will also shop exclusive merchandise—shirts, jackets, and sunhats—at the Emirates Official Store onsite and online.

The athletes also participated in fun challenges including a SailGP inspired game of Articulate in the full-sized Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge.

Guests in the Rolex SailGP Adrenaline Lounge can enjoy behind‑the‑scenes tours of the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team tech base, offering an unprecedented look at elite athletes and their wing‑sailed F50 catamarans. Throughout the venue, Emirates’ logo will feature prominently across racecourse signage, the stadium, trophy ceremonies, and on every competing F50 hull.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, said, “Since 2004 we’ve championed sailing globally. Bringing SailGP back to the UK alongside our partners lets us elevate the sport and immerse fans in the action on the Solent. We can’t wait to witness the teams’ skill, innovation, and rivalry in person.”

In‑flight, passengers won’t miss a moment: Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra on ice™, Emirates’ award‑winning entertainment system, will broadcast live racing and the docuseries Racing on the Edge. Earlier this month, Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team members Hannah Mills, Dylan Fletcher, and Kai Hockley visited the Emirates World Travel Store in London’s South Kensington to sample the airline’s First Class private suite, A380 Onboard Lounge, and Premium Economy, plus SailGP‑themed games.
