OVER 13,000 RACING FANS TO FLY ON 50 EXTRA RYANAIR FLIGHTS
2013-02-13 — /travelprnews.com/ — Ryanair, the official airline of the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival, today (13 Feb) announced record Cheltenham 2013 bookings with over 13,000 Irish racing enthusiasts set to fly on Ryanair’s lowest fares to the UK’s premier jump racing festival, which gets under way in one month’s time.
Ryanair has added an extra 50 flights to Birmingham, Bristol and East Midlands during the week-long festival beginning on 12th March, with the highlight being the Grade 1 Ryanair Chase (2.40pm on Thur, 14th March), one of the most valuable races at the 2013 Cheltenham National Hunt Festival. A limited number of Ryanair seats remain for each day of the Festival, so race-going day-trippers are advised to book their seats on www.ryanair.com and avoid missing the action.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said:
“Ryanair’s Cheltenham passengers are under starter’s orders with just one month to go until the highlight of the racing season begins, the 2013 Cheltenham National Hunt Festival. Ryanair will carry over 13,000 passengers to/from the world’s best jump racing festival on our lowest fares and we’ve scheduled 50 extra flights to Birmingham, Bristol and East Midlands due to enormous demand from Irish punters once more.
As Europe’s biggest airline, we’re used to being first past the post for the lowest fares and best customer service and we’ll be hoping for more Irish success in the Grade 1 Ryanair Chase. Ryanair is again working closely with the Cheltenham Festival to ensure the 2013 Ryanair Chase is once more the high point of what’s shaping up to be another memorable Cheltenham Festival.”
