(PRESS RELEASE) Shanghai, China, 2024-Oct-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Regent Hotels & Resorts continues to redefine luxury hospitality with the launch of the second season of Regent Taste Studio at Regent Shanghai on The Bund. This year’s theme, “The Magic of Beauty of Contrast,” will run from October 28 to November 12, showcasing an innovative fusion of art, food, and sensory experiences crafted by four acclaimed chefs from Shanghai and Chongqing.
The Regent Taste Studio is designed to provide guests with an immersive multi-sensory dining experience, pushing the boundaries of traditional cuisine. Rita Jiang, Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer for IHG Greater China, stated, “Regent is dedicated to delivering luxury experiences that surpass guest expectations. Our Taste Studio epitomizes this commitment by seamlessly integrating art, performance, music, and design into a cohesive and enchanting dining affair. This season, we’re not only extending the duration of the event but also optimizing the space to ensure smooth operations throughout the activation period.”
The Taste Studio’s theme draws inspiration from the stunning stained-glass artwork within Regent Shanghai, interpreting the concept through five distinct chapters: “Revive to Life,” “Elevate Above the Sea,” “Melody of Food,” “Where Time Can Not Find Us,” and “Timeless Uplifting.” Each chapter combines culinary artistry with interactive pop-up art, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with visual and auditory stimulation.
In the first chapter, “Revive to Life,” guests will embark on a journey that intertwines tranquility and vitality, featuring dishes like the Snowflake Lobster Tartlet and King Crab Roulade, each artfully presented to symbolize the beauty of nature’s rejuvenation.
The subsequent chapter, “Elevate Above the Sea,” transports diners to a digital art space where flavors reflect the ocean’s power and tranquility. Dishes such as Fish Sauce Chili Oil Foam showcase the refreshing essence of the sea and the resilience of nature.
In “Melody of Food,” chefs collaborate with artists to transform natural ingredients into harmonious creations, celebrating the bounty of nature with a dish that evokes the lush vibrancy of a miniature forest.
“Where Time Can Not Find Us” captivates with its exploration of luxury and ephemeral moments through holographic art, while the chapter “Timeless Uplifting” features the Lemon Sugar Sphere, which promises a sensory experience that transcends time.
Regent Taste Studio will officially open its doors on November 1, 2024, along the picturesque Huangpu River. The venue encapsulates the legacy of the Seamen’s Club and the Seagull Hotel while offering 135 luxurious rooms designed to provide a serene escape amidst the dynamic atmosphere of The Bund.
The hotel is committed to ensuring every guest enjoys a tailored experience through its “Regent Experience Agents,” who offer personalized service and thoughtful amenities. This dedication to detail enhances the overall guest experience, making each stay truly memorable.
With 11 properties currently in operation and another 11 in the pipeline in key locations such as Kuala Lumpur and Kyoto, Regent Hotels & Resorts is poised to continue its legacy of luxury and innovation in the hospitality industry.
