The collaboration integrates the carriers’ hubs in Doha and Tokyo, providing customers with improved access to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Japan. Starting next year, Qatar Airways Cargo will introduce freighter services between Hamad International Airport and Tokyo Narita Airport. The MoU was signed by Qatar Airways Cargo’s Chief Officer Cargo, Mark Drusch, and Japan Airlines’ Senior Vice President, Head of Cargo and Mail, Yuichiro Kito, with Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, also in attendance. The agreement seeks to streamline cargo transfers, improve operational efficiency, and provide customers with greater access to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Levant, and Japan.

Mark Drusch emphasized the transformative potential of the partnership:
