United Kingdom, 2024-Aug-21 — /Travel PR News/ —
The countdown has begun for the sixth edition of the OurAfrica.Travel virtual trade show, set to take place online from 17th to 21st February 2025.
The previous edition, hosted in February 2024, facilitated 8,510 one-to-one meetings across various time zones, connecting 479 buyers and 23 journalists from around the globe with 222 exhibitors from Africa and her Indian Ocean islands. Participants praised the event for its seamless organization and valuable networking opportunities, generating over 10,000 profile views and countless meaningful connections.
“The feedback from participants, both buyers and exhibitors, is always phenomenal,” confirmed Storm Napier. “Set up out of necessity during Covid to support the industry, Storm and I are delighted that the show still holds so much relevance and affection for the industry and remains a valued event on the tourism calendar”, said Allie Hunt.
As in previous years, participation remains completely free for travel agents, tour operators, travel writers and media, and travel buyers, ensuring accessibility for all. Exhibitor costs will also be kept affordable, promoting inclusivity within the industry. As with every year, the show will continue its commitment to making a positive impact on conservation and community initiatives, with donation recipients for 2024 including With My Own Two Hands which runs agricultural and water projects in East Africa and the HERD Elephant orphanage in South Africa.
