Nova Park and IHG strengthen partnership with launch of Garner Hotel Pattaya Central this year

(NEWS) PATTAYA, Thailand, 2025-Sep-3 — /Travel PR News/ — IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to expand its midscale brand Garner into Southeast Asia with the opening of Garner Hotel Pattaya Central later this year. Located in the heart of Pattaya, the 153-room property will be developed in partnership with Nova Park Company Limited, a long-standing IHG partner with over 20 projects in the area. The launch underscores IHG’s commitment to strengthening its mainstream hotel portfolio, which already includes globally recognized names such as Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express.

Since its introduction in 2023, the Garner brand has grown rapidly, with 51 hotels already open across the US, Germany, and Japan, and another 87 in the pipeline. The Pattaya opening will mark a key milestone, bringing Garner’s signature approach of offering essential comforts—such as quality bedding, free Wi-Fi, bean-to-cup coffee, and convenient locations—while emphasizing authentic connections with guests.

IHG executives highlighted Thailand’s historical importance as a regional launchpad for new brands, noting the strategic value of Pattaya as a major tourism hub and gateway to the Eastern Economic Corridor. The project builds on IHG and Nova Park’s successful partnership, which previously delivered Holiday Inn Express Pattaya Central. Nova Group described the new hotel as a strong addition to the city’s tourism landscape, complementing wider infrastructure and travel developments.

The Garner Hotel Pattaya Central will offer amenities including an all-day dining restaurant, pool, fitness centre, and DIY laundry facilities. It will become IHG’s fourth hotel in Pattaya, joining InterContinental Pattaya Resort, Holiday Inn Pattaya, and Holiday Inn Express Pattaya Central, and will contribute to IHG’s growing Thailand portfolio of 40 operating properties and 41 in development.

Also in Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts is driving rapid expansion of its Garner brand across key markets. In India, the company has signed new agreements for Garner Etawah in Uttar Pradesh, Garner Kathua in Jammu & Kashmir, and Garner Kutch in Gujarat, all scheduled to open between 2026 and 2027 in partnership with Rosastays and local developers. Meanwhile in Japan, Garner has already debuted three hotels in Osaka and is preparing to launch Garner Hotel Kyoto Shijo Karasuma in late 2025. These developments highlight IHG’s strategy to strengthen its mainstream segment by offering affordable, high-quality stays with essential comforts in both established cities and fast-growing regional hubs.
