Newton Steading, a luxurious self-catering accommodation in Angus secures a five-star rating from VisitScotland

EDINBURGH, Scotland, 2019-Feb-24 — /Travel PR News/ — An early 19th century barn, which has been renovated to luxurious self-catering accommodation, is celebrating after achieving a prestigious Quality Assurance award from VisitScotland.

Newton Steading, situated near Lintrathen in Angus, has secured a five-star rating from the national tourism organisation. The grading highlights businesses who offer exceptional customer service, providing the best possible visitor experience.

With the accommodation having undergone a recent renovation project, husband and wife Anthony and Caroline Hoddle have worked to create a perfect getaway, providing guests with a luxurious and relaxing experience surrounded by the rural beauty and wildlife of the region.

The accommodation also offers guests the option of an in-house catering service, where fresh produce is sourced from local businesses to enhance the flavoursome and bespoke high quality dishes available.

The natural landscape and year round scenic views have helped to attract visitors from across the world. The area is well known for its impressive range of outdoor activities including the Glen Isla to Glen Prosen mountain bike route, mountaineering, rock climbing and birdwatching.
