Marriott to donate $800,000 to Former NBA star Yao Ming's Foundation
2013-07-16 — /travelprnews.com/ — Yao Ming, former National Basketball Association star, visited the Marriott International headquarters Friday to celebrate the company’s partnership with the Yao Foundation. Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Marriott will donate $800,000 to the Yao Foundation to help establish three Project Hope schools in rural areas of the Southwestern region of China. The Marriott donation will also be used to support the Yao Foundation Hope Primary School basketball season program in 2014 and 2015.
