Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 2019-Dec-04 — /Travel PR News/ — 37-year old Philipp Kehder will take over at the helm of the 152-room IntercityHotel Freiburg with effect from 2 December 2019. As the new General Manager, Mr. Kehder will be in charge of both day-to-day operations and the hotel’s strategic divisions. The previous Director Henri Fritz, who has been employed by the IntercityHotel GmbH for the past 20 years, will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity.
Phillip Kehder has gained valuable experience in the areas of revenue management and guest services over the past few years and was most recently General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express Ringsheim. He holds a degree in business administration and also successfully completed an additional qualification in hotel and tourism management at Ravensburg University of Cooperative Education during the course of his training. “Philipp Kehder is a young and highly motivated hotel director, and we are delighted to have acquired his services,” said Joachim Marusczyk, founding Managing Director of IntercityHotel GmbH. “His expertise will provide the perfect springboard for the future of the hotel. We are very much looking forward to working with Mr. Kehder in future and extend a warm welcome to him as he joins our company. The hotel in Freiburg has 152 rooms in various categories, some of which offer disability access. Facilities also include seven conference rooms with modern equipment and technology. More than 40 IntercityHotels can be found at major transport hubs in cities both in Germany and abroad. IntercityHotels provide guaranteed comfort, and the convenience of their location at the respective destination is a particular selling point.
