(PRESS RELEASE) CHICAGO, 2025-May-9 — /Travel PR News/ — Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in collaboration with the Scalesciani family, owners of Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, and the David family of Mendoza, has announced plans to introduce Casa Duhau, a luxury hotel and residential development, in Mendoza’s renowned wine region. Located in Reserva Alto Agrelo, a new 1,000-acre development, Casa Duhau will become the only hotel in Argentina within The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, marking an exciting new chapter for the brand in South America. Set to open in late 2027, the hotel will feature 52 luxurious villas and suites.

Casa Duhau will offer guests a one-of-a-kind experience, combining Hyatt’s luxury hospitality with the rich culture and landscape of Mendoza. The property will offer panoramic views of the Andes Mountains and nearby vineyards, providing an inspiring environment for activities such as horseback riding, mountain biking, and enjoying bonfires at sunset. Guests will stay in 40 private villas and 12 suites, designed for the ultimate privacy and comfort. The hotel will feature two signature restaurants, a state-of-the-art spa, fitness center, swimming pool, modern meeting rooms, and a spacious event hall. The surrounding gardens and terraces will serve as the perfect venue for memorable events, including weddings held in the property’s chapel.

Cristiano Goncalves, Vice President of Development for South America & the Caribbean at Hyatt, expressed excitement about the brand’s expansion in Argentina: “This is a landmark project for The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, bringing new experiences and opportunities for both travelers and locals in Mendoza. Casa Duhau will be an extraordinary addition to our portfolio, perfectly aligning with the growing demand for unique luxury experiences within world-class destinations.”

The hotel is set within the Reserva Alto Agrelo development, which will also feature Bodega Agrelia, a premium boutique winery, and Casa David – Wine & Horses, an exclusive equestrian club offering top-tier facilities for horse training and care. The development will include residential lots for sale, adding to the appeal of the region as both a luxury hospitality and residential destination.

The new project represents a significant investment in Mendoza’s growing tourism sector, with an emphasis on integrating sustainable and luxury living. “We are excited to continue our partnership with Hyatt and bring a new type of luxury experience to Mendoza,” said Juan Francisco Scalesciani, Founder of Ardee Developments. “Mendoza’s natural beauty and world-renowned wines create the perfect backdrop for Casa Duhau and Reserva Alto Agrelo.”

Casa Duhau’s architectural design will be led by BMA ARQS, a global firm specializing in luxury projects. The interior design will be handled by Martín Zanotti Studio, while Fernando González will be responsible for the landscape design. This collaboration aims to create a timeless, elegant design that complements the region’s natural beauty.

The wine club at Bodega Agrelia will also offer exclusive memberships, giving residents and guests access to limited-edition bottles curated by prestigious winemakers Michel Rolland and Marcelo Pelleriti. Casa Duhau’s equestrian club, Casa David – Wine & Horses, will provide residents and guests with unparalleled access to world-class horse facilities.

With the addition of Casa Duhau, Hyatt is further strengthening its presence in Argentina’s luxury market. The hotel joins the esteemed Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and Park Hyatt Mendoza, continuing Hyatt’s commitment to providing exceptional, unforgettable experiences for its guests in the region.
