Nusa Dua-Bali, Indonesia, 2022-Mar-28 — /Travel PR News/ — Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach turning sustainability into action by switching off the non-essential light for one hour from 8:30 p.m. to celebrate the annual global event of Earth Hour on 26th March 2022.
Whilst, the light was off for one hour, the in-house guests were gathered to enjoy the 200 candles formed into the 60+ number and stargazing on the beach which can be reached only a minute walk from their guest rooms.
“This is one of our actions to show how much we care about the future of our beloved Planet Earth. Besides protecting nature, we can enjoy healthy, happy, and sustainable lives at present and in the future. This event also encourages us to be able to use energy wisely.” Said Masaya Hasebe, General Manager at Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach.
He added, “Therefore, our CHSE certified beachfront resort is enhancing LED light usage in guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, and major public areas as well as an automated timer to minimize the non-essential lighting to save more energy for the environment.”
As part of the resort’s commitment to support the sustainable environment, Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach also plans to further extend the sustainability program to reach more actions to save the planet.
