(PRESS RELEASE) LANGKAWI, Malaysia, 2025-May-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Ground Team Red Sdn Bhd (GTR), a prominent ground services provider in Malaysia, has officially launched its Private Jet Handling service at the prestigious Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2025. This move marks GTR’s strategic expansion into the VIP and business aviation sectors, adding a premium service to its comprehensive portfolio of aviation ground handling solutions.

The announcement was accompanied by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between GTR and two key partners – Weststar Aviation Services and Sapura Aero Handlers. The MoU was witnessed by YB Hasbi Habibollah, Deputy Minister of Transport Malaysia. As part of these agreements, GTR will serve as the official ground handler for non-scheduled flights, focusing primarily on private jets and military aircraft.

Musdalifa Abdullah, CEO of GTR, emphasized the significance of this development, saying, “This MoU represents a pivotal moment in our expansion into the non-scheduled flight sector, specifically addressing the unique needs of private and military aviation. We are proud to be selected as the ground handling partner for Weststar and Sapura Aero and are excited to elevate the standard of aviation services in Malaysia.”

The new Private Jet Handling service will capitalize on GTR’s extensive expertise and nationwide operational reach, delivering top-tier ground handling tailored to the specific requirements of private and military aviation. Initially available at select airports across Malaysia, the service is poised for future expansion based on market demand.

The service launch at LIMA 2025 highlights its strategic importance in the context of Malaysia’s growing aviation infrastructure. As the country continues to enhance its position as a regional aviation hub, GTR’s expansion into specialized handling services aligns with national goals to elevate Malaysia’s role in global aviation.
