2013-06-03 — /travelprnews.com/ — Having a charming terrace and fabulous Chain Bridge view, the Gresham Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest presents its new menu with selected dishes of Hungarian and Italian cuisines. The Gresham offers once again dishes emphasizing the original rich and local flavours of truly unique Hungary and colourful Italy as well.

In the summer menu, Executive Chef Leonardo Di Clemente focuses on healthy and light summer meals using seasonal and local vegetables. Not only the ingredients but also the cooking techniques are in line with the healthy eating concept. With many chilled options on the menu, the Gresham’s summer dishes are just what are needed for the warmer weather.

Chef Leonardo kept the original concept of the restaurant while he reimagined the new menu: guests are offered the chance to select the dishes of a Hungarian and Italian menu. Each menu offers appetizers, soups, fish and meat main dishes. Appetizers consist mainly of salads and healthy meast. Goat cheese salad with egercheese and raspberries and homemade pistachio crackers, slow cooked mangalica loin, prawns and smoked sturgeon tower are a few of the mouth-watering appetizers, served with Chef Leonardo’s bright style.

Main courses include the most loved Hungarian and Italian classics, having a wide range of fresh homemade pasta and risotto. Ravioli with roasted eggplant, roasted lobster and scallop, summer truffle poached pike perch, Wiener schnitzel, and chicken paprika are just a few of the options under the menu’s main dishes section.

The specialty dessert menu has also been updated, now offering apple strudel with whipped cream, Eszterhazy cake, and Hungary’s national cake 2012: the poppy seed apple cake. Desserts also include the famous Rigó Jancsi cake – a Gresham specialty, served with Rozsavolgyi chocolate, the signature product of a local artisan chocolate factory.
