Under the terms of the agreement, the low-fare carrier will introduce New Distribution Capability (NDC) content to travel sellers via a Global Distribution System (GDS), enhancing the booking experience with greater customization and flexibility.
This collaboration leverages Amadeus’ NDC capabilities and represents another key milestone in Frontier Airlines’ New Frontier transformation. By integrating NDC with traditional EDIFACT distribution methods, the partnership will provide a seamless transition to a more dynamic and personalized booking experience, giving customers access to a wider array of options, improved pricing visibility, and enhanced premium offerings.
Through this partnership, Frontier customers will be able to access a range of featured products, including seat assignments and a simplified process for modifying travel plans. These improvements will enhance customer satisfaction and provide more control over their travel experience.
