CHICAGO, 2014-2-27 — /Travel PR News/ — In celebration of its 20th anniversary this summer, Frontier Airlines has announced it is launching six new U.S. routes, including two new destinations served from Midway International Airport.
Beginning in June 2014, Frontier will offer seasonal nonstop service from Midway (MDW) to both Harrisburg, PA (MDT) and Knoxville, TN (TYS).
“On behalf of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, I want to thank Frontier Airlines for adding new routes to Knoxville and Harrisburg from Chicago Midway, the nation’s premier airport for value fare, point-to-point service,” said Rosemarie S. Andolino, Commissioner, Chicago Department of Aviation. “Midway continues to experience record-breaking passenger growth over the last two years thanks to the commitment of our airline partners.”

The service will operate on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft. Frontier offers service to more than 75 destinations in the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
