(PRESS RELEASE) DUBAI, UAE, 2025-Aug-4 — /Travel PR News/ — Emirates will expand its Dubai–London Gatwick service with the addition of a fourth daily rotation, effective 8 February 2026. Designated EK069/070, this new evening departure will be flown on Emirates’ latest Airbus A350-900, giving passengers the chance to experience the aircraft’s cutting-edge cabins, including both Business Class and Premium Economy.
With this enhancement, Emirates’ London network grows to 12 daily flights spread across Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted, offering travellers a wider range of departure times and seamless connectivity. Flight EK069 will lift off from Dubai International at 17:05, touching down at London Gatwick at 20:50. The return leg, EK070, departs Gatwick at 23:55 and arrives back in Dubai at 11:00 the following morning.*
Positioned as the final service of the day on the Dubai–London corridor in both directions, this timing caters perfectly to business and leisure customers alike. Gatwick-bound guests can maximise their day in Dubai—whether completing meetings or enjoying last-minute shopping—before an evening departure. Conversely, arriving passengers land in London late enough to head straight to their accommodations and begin their UK activities the next day.
Configured in a three-class layout, the A350-900 for EK069/070 features 32 fully lie-flat Business Class suites in a 1-2-1 arrangement, 28 dedicated Premium Economy seats, and 238 Economy Class seats. Passengers will benefit from Emirates’ acclaimed in-flight service and state-of-the-art amenities, such as wireless charging in Business Class, electric window blinds adorned with the Emirates Ghaf tree motif in premium cabins, and digital menus via the ice inflight entertainment system.
Gatwick becomes the second UK station to welcome Emirates’ A350 fleet—joining Edinburgh—and this new service boosts Emirates’ UK footprint to 140 weekly flights across eight gateways: London Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh, operated by a mix of A350s, A380s and Boeing 777s. Globally, Emirates’ A350 also serves destinations including Lyon, Bologna, Mumbai, Bahrain, Muscat, Istanbul and Ahmedabad, among others.
Tickets for EK069/070 are now available on emirates.com, the Emirates App, retail stores, contact centres and through authorised travel agents.
