2013-07-17 — /travelprnews.com/ — The annual Four Seasons Hotel Boston Run of Hope will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2013 along the Charles River Esplanade. All proceeds will benefit pediatric cancer care and research at the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children and the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center (MGH). The event will include one-of-a-kind top fundraiser and raffle prizes, a gourmet pancake breakfast, kid’s activities, plus a special appearance from Chronicle host Shayna Seymour, the event’s emcee.
Run of Hope festivities will kick off with the Children’s 50-yard Fun Run at 10:00 am, followed by the 5k Run and 2k Walk at 10:30 am. Before, during and after, participants will enjoy games, incredible raffle prizes, a pancake breakfast prepared by Four Seasons Hotel Boston Chefs, plus an Awards Ceremony hosted by Shayna Seymour during which the top runners and fundraisers will be honoured. Top fundraisers will receive trips to Four Seasons properties worldwide, airfare included.
The Run of Hope’s mission is to help children receive the best possible care at MGH. The Run of Hope has raised USD 1 million for MGH thus far and is part of the global mission of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts to help find a cure for cancer as well.
