(PRESS RELEASE) GENEVA, Switzerland, 2025-Jun-25 — /Travel PR News/ — MSC Cruises makes a cinematic entrance today as F1® THE MOVIE—an Apple Original Films production directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer—premieres in theatres worldwide via Warner Bros. Pictures. The high-octane drama, starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris as rival drivers on the fictional APXGP Formula 1® team, prominently showcases MSC Cruises’ logo on racecars, team uniforms and trackside banners, spotlighting the cruise line’s ongoing alliance with Formula 1® since 2022.

Filmed during actual Grand Prix weekends over recent seasons, the movie integrates MSC Cruises’ branding into the heart of the action—visitors will recognize the cruise line’s distinctive colors on cars thundering around legendary circuits. Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman of MSC Group’s Cruise Division, commented, “F1® THE MOVIE captures our shared passion for precision, performance and innovation—values we champion both at sea and on the track. We’re thrilled to see MSC Cruises play a starring role in bringing this partnership to life.”

Earlier this year, MSC Group extended its Global Partnership with Formula 1® through 2030, preserving title race rights, trackside branding and exclusive hospitality activations. As part of this renewal, sister brand Explora Journeys will also feature on select Grand Prix signage packages, further amplifying MSC’s presence in the sport.

F1® THE MOVIE opens today in international markets and on June 27, 2025, in North American cinemas and IMAX® venues.
