Ethiopian Airlines Launches New Sharjah Route to Boost Middle East Connectivity

(IN SHORT) Ethiopian Airlines is set to expand its route network with a new passenger service to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, effective June 1, 2025. The service, operating four times weekly using Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, provides a vital connection between Addis Ababa and Sharjah. With departures from Addis Ababa on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 10:05 p.m. (arrival at Sharjah at 03:25 a.m.) and from Sharjah on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 04:25 a.m. (arrival at Addis Ababa at 07:45 a.m.), the route enhances Ethiopian Airlines’ presence in the Middle East. The flight schedule is as follows:

ET 622 departs from Addis Ababa (ADD) every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 10:05 p.m., arriving in Sharjah (SHJ) at 03:25 a.m.

ET 623 departs from Sharjah (SHJ) every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 04:25 a.m., arriving in Addis Ababa (ADD) at 07:45 a.m.
