Dubai, UAE, 2015-6-15 — /Travel PR News/ — Dubai Airports was declared winner of the Gold Award for ‘Best Internal Communications During A Brand Development Programme’ at the Transform Awards Middle East & North Africa, at a ceremony in Dubai recently.
The award category recognises an organisation’s approach in engaging all its employees, especially in communicating a change in its positioning or brand strategy to ensure the it occurs at every level across the board.
“As the operator of the world’s busiest airport for international passengers, Dubai Airports is working to transform the travel experience of its customers over the coming years and create airports that feature a radically different experience from that of the current airports. We worked with an agency to create and brand an internal engagement programme to communicate this change internally. We are really pleased that the programme impressed the panel of judges and was chosen the winner,” said Anita Mehra, Vice President of Communications & Business Development at Dubai Airports.
This year’s judging panel was made up of ten branding experts from across the region and different industry sectors such as telecommunications, financial services, hospitality and retail.
The Transform Awards has been running for the past six years in Europe, establishing itself last year in the Middle East North Africa and Asia-Pacific regions. The launch of the MENA and APAC awards came together with the launch of Transform magazine, a global publication on brand development and rebranding. Transform Awards MENA is the only awards programme that celebrates brand development, reputation management and rebranding in the Middle East and North Africa region.
