Hong Kong, 2012-08-21 — /travelprnews.com/ — Dragonair today (Tuesday) welcomed the announcement by the Immigration Department of the Hong Kong SAR government that it will implement the online Pre-arrivalRegistration for Taiwan Residents from 1 September 2012.
Dragonair Chief Executive Officer Patrick Yeung said: “Taiwan is an important market for Dragonair and we now operate three flights to Taipei, six to Kaohsiung and two to Taichung every day. It is expected that there will be even more passenger traffic between Hong Kong and Taiwan following the implementation of the online pre-arrival registration, and we stand ready to meet the increase in demand with our premium products and quality service.”
In mid-May, Dragonair resumed flights to and from Taichung. Together with its services to and from Taipei and Kaohsiung, the airline currently operates a total of 154 flights a week between Hong Kong and Taiwan.
