Phoenix and Ft. Lauderdale Service Begins This Fall
Cincinnati, OH, 2014-7-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Allegiant Travel Company announces additional service from CVG to Phoenix – Mesa (AZA) and Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) and expanded service to Orlando (ORD), Punta Gorda (PDG), and Tampa Bay/St.Pete (PIE). Allegiant launched service from CVG in February with two flights per week to Ft.Myers/Punta Gorda and two flights per week to Orlando/Sanford.

Lauderdale and Phoenix and expanded service to Orlando, Punta Gorda and Tampa Bay/St.Pete,” said Candace McGraw, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Chief Executive Officer. The additional flights on Allegiant represent a 157 percent increase in capacity by growing from seven flights per week to 18 flights per week. As the fastest growing market in Allegiant’s 15 year history, the success at CVG would not be possible without the immense support from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky community.”

Starting in October, passengers can travel to Phoenix twice per week on Wednesday and Saturday, to Ft. Lauderdale four times per week on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, to Orlando four times per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, to Punta Gorda four times per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and to Tampa Bay/St. Pete four times per week on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Allegiant’s aircraft fleet includes the 156 seat A319, the 166 seat MD-86 and the 177 seat A320. Tickets and vacation packages can be booked through Allegiant.com.

With the addition of Phoenix – Mesa airport, CVG will offer either year-round or seasonal nonstop service to 56 destinations, more than any other airport in the Tri-State region.
