Columbus Zoo and Aquarium announced 50 percent off all admission prices during January and February

Powell, OH, US, 2014-1-14 — /travelprnews.com/ — Suffering from a case of the winter weather blues? Half-price admission and family free days at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium cure the most severe cases of cabin fever!

Guests enjoy 50 percent off all admission prices during the months of January and February. Admission rates during this time are $7.50 for general admission, $5 for children ages two through nine and $5.50 for seniors 60 years of age and older. Children under two and Columbus Zoo members are free during normal hours of operation.

On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Jan. 20, 2014) and President’s Day (Feb. 17, 2014) admission will be free for all guests.

Snow and sleet are no reason to stay inside! Go on a tropical getaway to Discovery Reef and Manatee Coast, meet the gorillas at Congo Expedition, slither over to the reptile building and explore Asia Quest including a visit with the elephants.
