Chicago Department of Aviation: Midway International Airport Pre-proposal event was a great success

CHICAGO, 2015-9-23 — /Travel PR News/ — The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) Pre-proposal meeting and Concessions Connections events for the Midway International Airport Concessions Request for Proposal (RFP) were a great success.

More than 250 individuals attended the event held at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place on September 17, 2015.

The purpose of the event was to provide an opportunity for single-entity respondents and independent businesses to meet and network. The unique format for the day-long included a Pre-proposal meeting; a “fast pitch” session where individuals were given the opportunity to pitch their business directly to single-entities in three minutes; and brief one-on-one networking meetings.

During the Pre-proposal meeting, CDA staff provided an overview of vision, goals, terms and objectives of the RFP, as well as the Concessions Space Plan, scope of services and the next steps for responding to the RFP.

Responses are due by December 18, 2015.
