Braidwood Tavern at Four Seasons Resort Whistler launches brand new Oktoberfest menu

Whistler, Canada, 2021-Sep-22 — /Travel PR News/ — Welcome to the golden season at Four Seasons Resort Whistler! To celebrate Whistler’s Craft Beer month, Braidwood Tavern launches its brand new Oktoberfest menu.

“I grew up in Austria and the highlight of every fall was driving to Oktoberfest in Munich. The festival is all about sharing good food and good beer, while recapping adventures and stories with your friends and family. This menu reminds me of home, and I can’t wait to share it with our guests at Braidwood Tavern,” says Josef Weichinger, Director of Food and Beverage.

Oktoberfest’s liquid gold highlights include Coast Mountain’s Woodnutt Brown Ale, created with select blend of Weyermann Pale and Light Munich, and King Heffy Imperial Hefeweizan, a German-styled wheat beer by Howe Sound Brewing.  In addition to the two new taps, guests and visitors are also invited to enjoy a hand-picked selection of craft beers that reflect the impressive microbreweries across the Sea to Sky region.

The dynamic beer program is paired with German all-time favourites such as schweinshaxe, a roast pork shank accompanied by sauerkraut, semmelknödel (bread dumplings), pretzel and beer gravy. The classics wiener schnitzel and leberkäse meatloaf are also part of the menu specials.
