(PRESS RELEASE) JAKARTA, Indonesia, 2026-Feb-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Marriott Bonvoy and Bank Mandiri have introduced the Marriott Bonvoy® Mandiri Credit Card, marking the loyalty program’s first co-branded credit card in Southeast Asia and Bank Mandiri’s first partnership with a global hospitality group.

The collaboration brings together Indonesia’s largest bank and the world’s largest hospitality company, creating a financial product designed to convert everyday spending into global travel rewards. The initiative reflects Indonesia’s rapidly expanding travel market and aims to provide cardholders with simplified access to Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of more than 30 hotel brands across over 10,000 destinations worldwide.

John Toomey, Chief Commercial Officer for Asia Pacific excluding China at Marriott International, highlighted Indonesia as one of Marriott’s fastest-growing markets in the region, with more than 86 properties currently operating and around 30 additional properties expected by 2030. He described the launch as a significant step in deepening engagement with Indonesian travellers by allowing them to earn and redeem benefits through daily transactions.

Henry Panjaitan, Vice President Director of Bank Mandiri, characterised the co-branded card as a strategic addition to the bank’s ecosystem-driven financial services strategy. He noted that the partnership enhances value for customers by enabling them to transform routine spending into international travel benefits, while supporting more structured and efficient expense management. The collaboration is also expected to strengthen customer engagement within Bank Mandiri’s consumer banking ecosystem.
