2013-08-27 — /travelprnews.com/ — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) announces today new, nonstop jet service between Manhattan, Kan. and Phoenix via Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, beginning Nov. 7, 2013. Today’s announcement will mark the 99th U.S. city served by Allegiant’s low-cost, nonstop service to popular vacation destinations, more than any other low-cost carrier in the U.S.
“We are pleased to bring affordable and convenient travel options to the residents of Manhattan and North Central Kansas,” said Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company President. “We are confident that Manhattan and the surrounding communities will appreciate the convenience of flying nonstop to Phoenix and the value of bundling their air, hotel and car rental reservation together through us.”
The new flights will operate twice weekly between Manhattan Regional Airport (MHK) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) beginning Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013. Travelers can take advantage of everyday low fares and save even more when they book air, hotel, car and even activity and attraction reservations together. Flight days and times can be found at allegiant.com.
“This is great news for the regional leisure and business travelers that will be able to conveniently use the Manhattan Regional Airport with nonstop service to Phoenix,” said Manhattan Mayor John Matta. “The new service demonstrates the success and viability of our region.”
