BERLIN, 2016-May-24 — /Travel PR News/ — Under the slogan “The Art of Travelling”, the Berlin airline with the global network is showcasing its Business Class service in its first pop-up store, situated in the prestigious Bikini Berlin concept mall in the heart of the German capital.
Opening for two weeks from May 21 to June 4, 2016, visitors are warmly invited to drop in at the temporary store in Bikini Berlin any time between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. The pop-up store is also open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the special Sunday shopping day on May 22, 2016.
“More than anything else, we want our first pop-up store to be a uniquely intimate experience where customers can experience our brand and premium products at close quarters in an unusual setting. We invite visitors to drop in and enjoy putting our high-quality product through its paces and getting to know us better in a relaxed atmosphere”, says Stefan Pichler, CEO airberlin, as he explains the concept.
“The pop-up store is certainly a flagship project for airberlin, as it represents our new premium strategy. This idea is also reflected in our latest image campaign with the extraordinary illustrations by the well-known graphic designer and artist Noma Bar. The campaign’s visual design takes a completely new direction for airberlin, and it demonstrates clearly that we are already a premium airline with an outstanding range of superb products and services”.
The campaign motifs with the illustrations by Noma Bar are the artistic centrepiece to the pop-up store; often a touch ambiguous in their meaning, they playfully illustrate all facets of the “art of travelling” with airberlin. An exclusive soirée with the artist Noma Bar for invited guests on the evening of June 1, 2016 will be a particular highlight.
Besides illustrations by Noma Bar, airberlin will use its first pop-up store to showcase the entire range of its premium products, extending from FullFlat Business Class seats and the amenity kits by the BerlinWUNDERKIND through to exclusive catering the airline offers on board with Sansibar wines or the Mampe ‘Fliegercocktail’. Visitors looking to take home their very own airberlin souvenir can purchase many of their favourite products like the Sansibar wine or the Mampe ‘Fliegercocktail’ directly in the pop-up store. It goes without saying that the airberlin chocolate heart by Lindt will also feature strongly.
Visitors to the store will also be able to take part in an exclusive competition and win a Business Class flight to the US, if they’re lucky.
Exclusively available in the pop-up store: booking special with a 2 for 1 promotion
What’s more, every Monday to Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., airberlin will offer visitors to the pop-up store the opportunity to benefit from a 2 for 1 booking special to an attractive destination within its global route network. The booking special is only available in the pop-up store and is booked on the spot.
Naturally, anyone unable to drop by in the pop-up store during the special deal days can purchase their tickets as usual for the regular prices directly at https://www.airberlin.com, by calling the Service Centre at 0180 6 334 334 (calls cost €0.20 from German landlines and no more than €0.60 from German mobile networks) or in travel agencies.
The weekly airberlin Super Sunday is another great opportunity to purchase flight tickets at bargain prices; simply visit airberlin.com between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. every Sunday.
