Air France welcomes Benoît Parayre as EVP Communication

Paris, France, 2018-Nov-22 — /Travel PR News/ — Benoît Parayre is joining Air France on December 3, 2018 as EVP Communication, Air France. He will be a member of the Air France Executive Committee and will report to the Air France CEO, a position currently held by Benjamin Smith, CEO of Air France-KLM, and Alexandre Boissy, Deputy General Secretary and SVP Communication of Air France-KLM.

Benoît Parayre has 25 years of experience in the field of communication, including more than 10 years dealing with the transport sector. Since 2013, he has been Executive Director for Communication and Partnerships at the Centre Pompidou.

His professional background has led him to carry out his responsibilities in both the public and private sectors. He was special advisor for the Labour Minister (1994-1995), the Secretary of State for Transport (1995-1997), the Mayor of Bordeaux (2000-2005), the Minister for Employment, Labour and Social Cohesion and Housing (2005-2007), and the Minister of State, Minister of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Maritime Affairs (2007-2010) before joining the General Council for Environment and Sustainable Development (2010-2012). Benoît Parayre is also General Council for Environment and Sustainable development for the French Government administration. In the private sector, he worked at the Press-Club de France (1990-1994), in the transport branch of the Lagardère/Siemens groups from 1997 to 2000, and set up OgilvyRed, the consulting branch of the Ogilvy agency (WPP group), of which he was Executive Vice President in 2013.
