PARIS, France, 2019-May-22 — /Travel PR News/ — On May 17, 2019, the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia is an opportunity for Air France to illustrate its commitment and the concrete actions it is taking to promote inclusion and diversity.
A day for inclusion and diversity
On May 17, for the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia, Air France is inviting its employees to a ‘Rainbow Morning’ at its offices in Roissy, to exchange and share ideas and experiences, in the presence of several associations and with the exceptional participation of Muriel Robin, sponsor of the association ‘Le Refuge’.
On this occasion, Air France CEO Anne Rigail will sign the association l’Autre Cercle’s LGBT+ commitment charter, which fights against discrimination linked to sexual orientation and gender identity and provides a formal framework by including the LGBT+ theme in a policy to promote diversity.
Also on the agenda this morning:
A commitment against all forms of discrimination
Air France, aware of its social and societal responsibility, affirms its commitment to ensuring that only skills matter in the workplace: fighting all forms of discrimination is essential to progress and to promote equality, respect and tolerance. This is why Air France is committed to preventing discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation and to promoting an inclusive working environment in which all employees can be themselves.

This operation is carried out in partnership with the Air France Foundation, which supports children and young people in need in all the countries where the company operates.
A film presenting ‘Le Refuge’ and LGBT-themed films will also be shown as part of the inflight entertainment.
Flight schedules (in local time):
The French association ‘Le Refuge’ is a structure approved by the French State, which offers temporary accommodation and social, medical, psychological and legal support to young victims of homophobia or transphobia. To find out more, go to https://www.le-refuge.org.
