Moscow, 2016-Jul-25 — /Travel PR News/ — Aeroflot has held an InstaMeet with popular Russian Instagrammers at Aeromar, an Aeroflot subsidiary and leader in airline catering.
As part of the #trainingAeroflotFood project, Instagrammers had the opportunity to visit an area that is usually closed to the public to taste the top-rated dishes on Aeroflot’s new business-class menu and meet head chef Thierry Mona and Ginza Project brand chef Cristiano Lorenzini.
The InstaMeet is the third in Aeroflot’s @Training_Project programme, where Instagrammers get the opportunity to photograph areas usually off-limits to the public, learn new skills and watch experts at work. The first InstaMeet was held in February 2015 at the Sheremetyevo training complex, and the second in May 2015 at Aeroflot’s Air Technical Centre.
The idea came from Ekaterina Mishchenkova, a leading Instagrammer (@katia_mi и @katia_mi_) and member of the Russian Union of Art Photographers.
“Much of what we saw at Aeromar was a real discovery, above all how famous chefs invent new dishes, analysis of passengers’ taste preferences, the use of Russian products and strict quality control”, Ekaterina Mishchenkova said.
“Aeroflot pays special attention to the quality and selection of its on-board meals, and attracts world class chefs to create its menu,” Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Saveliev said. “We recognise the importance of healthy and nutritionally balanced meals. The success of Aeroflot’s on-board food is thanks to our use of the best ingredients and recipes, and our quality of service. I hope that the InstaMeet gave our Instagrammers the opportunity to see that at Aeromar.”
