Abu Dhabi Airports to recognise individuals whose performance exceeded the overall performance target of Abu Dhabi International Airport

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 2015-6-8 — /Travel PR News/ — Abu Dhabi Airports has launched its annual ‘Star of the Year’ program, which recognises individuals whose performance exceeded the overall performance target of Abu Dhabi International Airport during the previous year.

Abu Dhabi Airports recently held a recognition ceremony to present the winners with their certificates.  Awardees included those from partners working at the airport such as, operating airlines and Etihad Airways, Customs and Airport Police as well as Abu Dhabi Airports’ subsidiaries such as Facilities Management, Duty free, Airport traffic and internal departments.

The winners were selected based on excellent work continuity during the year 2014. The program also recognizes individuals who interact directly or indirectly with passengers and contribute positively and exceptionally in the overall performance of Abu Dhabi Airports during last year.

Eng. Ahmad Al Haddabi, Chief Operations Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports, commented:

The list of awardees included personnel from various partners of Abu Dhabi Airports and included: Etihad Airways, Saudi Arabia Airlines, Pakistan Air, Turkish Airlines, Air blue, Jet Airways, Airport Traffic Police, and Airport Immigration, alongside Abu Dhabi Airports’ employees from various departments such as Airport Operations and Operations Support.
