Hershey, Pa., 2020-Feb-28 — /Travel PR News/ — Looking for a fun, family-friendly activity in March? ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is hosting a variety of programs and events for families with younger children throughout the month. Here is a list of upcoming happenings at the Zoo to add to your calendar.
MOMMY & ME DAYS
Every Monday in March from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Mommy & Me Days is a weekly program at ZooAmerica that offers a sweet opportunity for parents to get out of the house and spend quality time with their little ones. This program features hands-on activities, animal encounters, an animal artifacts touch table and a coloring station. Guests can also see an animal enrichment activity at 11 a.m.
Standard admission rates apply, but entry is free for ZooAmerica annual pass holders and Hersheypark Season Pass holders. Moms, dads, siblings, grandparents and friends are all encouraged to attend!
ANIMAL TALES
March 3, 10, 17 and 24 at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Do you have a preschooler or kindergartener who loves animals? Animal Tales at ZooAmerica is the perfect Tuesday outing for children ages 3-5. This program includes an animal-friendly story, craft activity, short walk around the zoo, snack and special meeting with different animals each week.
Both single session and full session registration are available at ZooAmerica.com. Parents or guardians may sign up their child for a single day session for $30.00 or all four sessions for $95.00.
Current ZooAmerica annual pass holders and Hersheypark Season Pass holders will receive a special pass rate per session. The fee includes one child and one adult.
TEDDY BEAR AND FRIENDS DAY
March 22 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
A zoo fan favorite, kids 12 and under are invited to bring a stuffed animal to ZooAmerica for Teddy Bear and Friends Day! Throughout the day, children can stop by the Teddy Bear Repair Clinic with their stuffed animal friend for a check-up by a real veterinarian or Zoo naturalist. Attendees can also enjoy tons of other bear-related activities, including a Teddy Bear scavenger hunt, an enrichment activity with the bears at 1:00 p.m., and a parade led by Ranger Scratch and his friends at 1:15 p.m.
This event is rain or shine. All activities are included in the price of regular admission.
