Woodland Park Zoo to host HOOT for the HOOD: a neighbor appreciation event on June 23

WHAT: Join Woodland Park Zoo in celebrating its neighbors from Fremont to Phinney Ridge, and Green Lake to Wallingford at HOOT for the HOOD: a neighbor appreciation event. Press is invited to attend.

Woodland Park Zoo is nestled between some of the hippest and most active neighborhoods in Seattle, and the zoo is excited to pay tribute to its supportive neighboring communities.

Neighbors are invited to an after-work mix and mingle at the zoo. Chat with neighbors, meet some new friends, enjoy ice cream and explore the zoo’s Molbak’s Butterfly Garden and Microsoft Pollinator Patio exhibits, home to butterflies and other wild pollinator species. Neighbors are encouraged to bring friends and family to enjoy this exclusive evening.

WHEN: Friday, June 23, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Woodland Park Zoo’s West Plaza. Enter through the West Entrance at Phinney Ave. N. between N. 55th & N. 56th Sts. Park in the Penguin Lot at N. 55th St. & Phinney Ave. N. or Otter Lot off N. 59th St. & Phinney Ave. N.
