PASSENGERS CAN BOOK RESCUE FARES FROM EUR 19.99**
BUDAPEST, Hungary, 2015-5-25 — /Travel PR News/ — Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announced further growth to its low fare route network from Lithuania with two new Vilnius services to Stockholm and Billund starting from 14 September and operating with three and two weekly frequencies respectively.
The airline also launched a rescue fare of EUR 19.99** for passengers affected by yesterday’s announcement of Air Lituanica ceasing operations. Passengers in possession of a cancelled Air Lituanica flight reservation between today and 30 June on services between Vilnius and Paris or Amsterdam can book via the Wizz Air call center to fly on Wizz Air’s Vilnius – Paris Beauvais or Vilnius – Eindhoven routes and must bring their original reservation when they travel. Wizz Air launched this unique rescue fare of EUR 19.99** to minimize disruption to Air Lituanica’s passengers affected by yesterday’s announcement of the Lithuanian airline ceasing operations. The rescue fare is subject to seat availability and passengers are advised to book quickly.
