BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, 2015-12-18 — /Travel PR News/ — Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today celebrated the opening of its newest Hungarian base in Debrecen. The airline is initially deploying one Airbus A320 aircraft to be based at Debrecen International Airport operating three new routes from Debrecen to Paris Beauvais, Brussels Charleroi and Malmo starting from 16 December.

Already served by WIZZ flights, Debrecen becomes WIZZ’s second Hungarian airport with base operations. The new aircraft increases the number of routes served from Debrecen to six and increases the annual seat capacity from the airport by 136% to 145,000 seats per year.

Wizz Air is not only adding new flights from Debrecen, but also increasing the frequencies on the existing services to London Luton and Eindhoven.
