BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, 2016-Jun-20 — /Travel PR News/ — Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and Romania’s largest airline, today announced a new route from Suceava to Milan Bergamo commencing on 3 August with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Already the largest airline in Romania, Wizz Air will grow its fleet to 20 aircraft in the country by the end of 2016, and will have a total of nine airports out of which seven are operating bases served by the young WIZZ fleet. Wizz Air currently employs over 600 colleagues directly, while this year will support more than 3,300 jobs in associated industries throughout Romania**.
In April WIZZ announced Suceava – London Luton service with four weekly frequencies that will commence on 19 August. Today’s announcement means an even earlier start of WIZZ operations from its ninth Romanian airport that now offers direct flight to Italy and well as the United Kingdom.
