BUDAPEST, Hungary, 2017-Mar-09 — /Travel PR News/ — Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and Romania’s largest airline, has launched its 2017 winter schedule for Romania. Wizz Air is increasing its flight frequencies across the Romanian network with an average of 13% and offers more than 3 million seats for the winter season, on 133 low-fare routes to 22 countries across Europe and beyond, from 10 Romanian airports. To celebrate the upcoming season, WIZZ is offering a special Promo Day with more than 500,000 seats on sale with 25%*off for all WIZZ customers booking tickets today, on 9 March, until midnight.
All passengers planning their holidays for the upcoming season can choose from any of the 56 destinations available on Wizz Air’s Romanian network, including the exciting winter sun destinations to Dubai, Tenerife, Lamezia Terme, Tel Aviv, Lisbon or Malaga. For those planning a city break, WIZZ network offers plenty of exciting destinations such as Rome, Berlin, Billund, Stockholm or Brussels.
Wizz Air, always looking to offer even more opportunities to its Romanian customers, is adding over 350,000 seats on sale for the 2017 winter schedule, which represents a further increase of 13% compared to the 2016 winter schedule.
For 2017, WIZZ has already announced starting 14 new routes to nine countries from Romania, as well adding additional aircraft to its bases in Cluj-Napoca and Craiova. This year Wizz Air will have 22 aircraft based in Romania, including 5 of the ultra-efficient brand new 230-seat Airbus A321, employing over 750 customer-oriented crew. Already the largest airline in Romania, since the very first flight in 2007 WIZZ has carried more than 28 million passengers to and from Romania on its low-fares paired with excellent on-board service.
