TRAVEL TIPS TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR BAGGAGE
2013-08-16 — /travelprnews.com/ — Wizz Air today reminded customers to travel smart & light by choosing the best baggage options available before traveling to the airport. The right choice of bags to take along for the summer holidays can result in savings for the passenger, better onboard experience, and possibly reduce the overall weight of the aircraft.
Wizz Air’s Daniel de Carvalho said: “Wizz Air prides itself of maintaining a high level of customer focus while ensuring the lowest fares. We recommend that customers avoid higher fees at the airport by adhering to our bag policies. When packing for their holidays passengers should plan in advance and book cabin baggage or check in baggage online at the lowest fees available. Families and groups can travel smart by only checking in one bag for all (from EUR 15), which is possible thanks to Wizz Air’s generous check in baggage allowance of 32kg. Small cabin bags (up to 42x32x25cm) can be carried for free and large cabin bags up to 56x45x25cm are available from EUR 10. For passengers choosing the large cabin baggage option, Wizz Air has just lifted any weight restrictions during the summer travel period to help families to avoid some baggage fees by placing their belongings into one shared large cabin bag. Goods purchased at the airport after security (an important source of revenue for Wizz Air’s 96 airport partners) will continue to be allowed in the cabin for free. We look forward to carry many smart & light passengers to one of our summer holiday destinations.”
