Wizz Air announces the appointment of Tamara Vallois as Head of Communications

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, 2016-Jun-14 — /Travel PR News/ — Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announced that it has appointed Tamara Vallois as Head of Communications, effective immediately. Reporting to Chief Corporate Officer Owain Jones, Vallois is based at the company’s office in Budapest.

“Tamara has been with Wizz Air’s communications team for the past three years and we are delighted to be able to promote from within to this position” Jones said. “As head of both internal and external communications, she will manage a communications team which has already forged a great reputation in our industry and the breadth of her experience from previous roles in the FMCG and automotive sectors will continue to benefit the team.”

Vallois (32) has joined Wizz Air in 2013 as a Corporate Communications Manager, having previously worked in marketing and communications at Colgate-Palmolive, General Motors and Agoda.com. In her new role she is replacing Doug Oliver who joined WIZZ in 2015 for an interim assignment and who is now moving back to the US.
