Budapest, Hungary, 2014-8-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe*, today announced further expansion in Budapest. From 15 May 2015 the airline will deploy a ninth Airbus A320 aircraft and open new services to Lisbon and Maastricht starting on 30 March and 15 May, respectively. Wizz Air will also add 17 extra flights to many of its existing routes. The airline’s capacity increase is expected to deliver 15% growth in 2015 year on year.
Wizz Air is now offering a total of 37 routes to 21 countries from Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. Seats on the new Lisbon and Maastricht services as well as the entire Hungarian summer 2015 schedule are already on sale and can be booked from HUF 5990* on wizzair.com.

Speaking at a press conference in Budapest today, József Váradi, CEO of Wizz Air said: “Wizz Air keeps expanding operations and continues to grow passenger traffic, create new local jobs and boost tourism in Hungary. I expect that our new services to Portugal and the Netherlands and the increased capacity on existing services will be welcomed by consumers as we continuously strive to offer low fares and optional services that best meet the needs of our customers. Shortly 13 WIZZ routes from Budapest will be served with daily or more frequencies which shall attract passengers with all kinds of purposes including business people.”
