(PRESS RELEASE) Surfside, Florida, U.S.A., 2023-Nov-1 — /Travel PR News/ — Everyone’s favourite poolside spot, Winston’s on the Beach at The Surf Club, also home to Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club, is introducing a new evening showcase of dining by the ocean – the crackle of the open grill, the scent of the Italian pizza oven, colour and flavour, tableside engagements, the sound of laughter as newfound friends and generations of families drift between their tables and the grassy lawns – and there, within reach, the sea. Named after the iconic social club’s famed visitor Winston Churchill, who painted those same sunset views, evenings at Winston’s on the Beach will begin November 4, 2023, just in time for the season of celebration.
The Menu
Reminiscent of a classic American grill, the menu combines influences of its own South Florida coastline and Italy. Starters are designed to be plentiful and shared among the table, including Burrata, Fritto Misto, San Daniele Prosciutto with Melon, and Mussels.
Dishes cooked on the oceanfront grill include Whole Grilled Branzino with Fennel Gratin, Australian Wagyu Tomahawk with Roasted Potatoes, Jumbo Tiger Prawns with a Yuzukosho Pepper and Cress Salad, as well as grilled local market finds.
Watch the pizzaiolo expertly prepare guests’ preferred pizza on the spot, as they then come fresh from the pizza oven flown in from Italy or choose from chef’s featured Neapolitan-style selections including the Marinara, Golosona, Tartufo Nero, as well as a Calzone Napoletano.
Desserts share in the same traditions, from the Cheesecake with Berries Compote and Vanilla Crème Brûlée to the Little “Angel” dessert pizza with the perfect touch of Nutella.
The Bar
The cocktail culture is just as inviting, as frozen glasses are brought to the table for the bartender’s perfect pour. Favourites are sure to include the Royal Piña, a clarified take on a signature piña colada, spritzes such as the tequila-based Mentirita, or The Surf Club Negroni with Aperol and passion fruit among its aperitivo-style cocktails.
The Details
As the sun sets on The Surf Club, experience the congenial energy and natural beauty of evenings at Winston’s on The Beach, where coastal ingredients, American traditions, and Italian flavours come together with the spirit of casual dining by the beach. Available Wednesdays through Sundays from 6:00 to 10:00 pm, reservations are recommended via Open Table.
