London, United Kingdom, 2024-May-9 — /Travel PR News/ — Country and Town House – Great British & Irish Hotels 2024/25Country & Town House magazine has just launched its summer issue, alongside the latest edition of their Great British & Irish Hotels 2024/25 guide, a celebration of homegrown hospitality which showcases the best tried and tested hotels.
They also announced the winners of their annual Sustainable Hotel of the Year Award in conjunction with Polestar. The Pig Hotels scooped the top spot this year, thanks to their authentic, rural hospitality offering across a choice of eight properties which all push the boundaries and go the “whole hog” towards being as sustainable, natural and eco-friendly as possible.
The awards also recognised the following hotels as Highly Commended for being amongst the most planet-friendly places to stay in the United Kingdom and Ireland:
Esteemed judges included Lucy Cleland, Fiona Duncan, Juliet Kinsman, Francisca Kellett and Petra Petterssen.
In a strategic partnership to support these exceptional hotels to better track and manage their incredible sustainability measures, all finalists will receive a free one-year subscription to Weeva, (valued at $1200 each).
