2012-08-17 — /travelprnews.com/ — As part of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority’s Arts Program, Washington Dulles International recently unveiled DC-based artist Anil Revri’s Wall for Peace 2011 sculpture in Concourse A/B. The placement of this sculpture enhances the Airports existing artwork and adds to the enjoyment of millions of passengers as they travel through Dulles Airport, a hub of international activity.
Media will get a first-look at Wall for Peace 2011 and discuss its creation with the artist on August 22.

Wall for Peace 2011 on display until March 2013, is 7 feet long, 6 ½ feet high, free-standing rectangular sculpture that features a four-sided LED screen that displays English translations of scriptures related to peace from Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Sikhism. Rays of light emanating from the unit are projected onto the viewers as they walk around the work.
