KIEV, 2015-10-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Ukraine International Airlines analyzed its performance within the period of January 1 – September 30, 2015. Notably, the period is marked with quality indexes upward trend.
Thus, within the reported timeframe UIA increased revenue by 1%, cut costs by 13%, and secured 12.54 million USD operating profit compared to 55.57 million USD operating loss in 2014.
In January – September 2015, UIA operated 31 081 scheduled flights carrying 3 611 352 passengers. These figures surpass the numbers of January – September 2014 by 2% and 26% respectively. The average load factor increased by 12.66% against the fact average ticket rates decreased by 16%.
The carrier launched 19 new non-stop scheduled services – both international and domestic:

• Kiev – Minsk;
• Kiev – Thessaloniki;
• Kiev – Amman;
• Kiev – Kutaisi;
• Kiev – Riga;
• Kiev – Zaporozhye;
• Lvov – Odessa;
• Lvov – Madrid;
• Lvov – Bologna;
• Lvov – Rome;
• Lvov – Tel Aviv;
• Odessa – Moscow;
• Odessa – St. Petersburg;
• Odessa – Vilnius;
• Odessa – Kharkov;
• Odessa – Lvov;
• Kharkov – Batumi;
• Kharkov – Tel Aviv.
