UIA tests SMS notification service to inform passengers of any delays and cancellations on their flights

Kiev, Ukraine, 2016-Aug-18 — /Travel PR News/ — UIA started testing SMS notification service informing passengers of all scheduled flights on any delays and cancellations. Therefore, the airline`s clients will be notified of important schedule alterations.

Within 48 – 1 hour prior to scheduled departure, passengers who provided UIA with correct contact details when booking their tickets may receive a notification on cancellation and/or any other schedule changes.

A SMS notification is disseminated in case a flight is delayed by over 2 hours. If the delay time is extended by over 30 minutes, passengers receive the second notice.

Shortly, UIA plans to introduce SMS notifications of the start of web check-in and confirmation of auto check-in for passengers of all scheduled flights.

Dear passengers,
When booking tickets for UIA flights remember to submit correct contact details (portable phone number, e-mail address). The latter will allow the airline to inform you on your flight status changes well in advance.
