TUI expands Asian portfolio with the launch of wellness-focused TUI Blue Angkor Grace in Cambodia

(NEWS) HONG KONG, 2025-Aug-22 — /Travel PR News/ — TUI Group is strengthening its presence in Asia with the opening of TUI Blue Angkor Grace, its second hotel in Cambodia and part of a wider expansion strategy that has seen seven new hotels launched across China, Thailand, Cambodia, and Indonesia in the current financial year.

Located in Siem Reap, close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Angkor Wat and Tonlé Sap Lake, the 151-room property blends wellness-focused offerings with strong local ties. Guests can enjoy hydrotherapy treatments, magnesium-rich pools, onsen and ice baths, sound healing sessions, yoga classes, and holistic therapies, while children benefit from a dedicated Kids Wellness Center. The hotel also partners with local farmers to source fresh produce, highlighting its commitment to community collaboration.

Artur Gerber, CEO of TUI Hotels & Resorts, said the opening showcases TUI’s expertise in leisure hospitality and its goal of bringing international attention to Cambodia’s tourism sector. Elain Younn, CEO of Grace Hospitality Company LTD, emphasised the hotel’s focus on blending Angkorian traditions with modern wellness experiences. With this addition, TUI now operates 25 hotels across eight Asian countries and has further plans to expand in Vietnam and Malaysia, reflecting its broader ambition to capture growing demand from Asian travellers seeking authentic holiday experiences.

Alongside this milestone in Cambodia, TUI is further strengthening its presence in China with the launch of TUI Blue Xiamen Seaside Hot Spring, a 340-room hotel featuring a mineral-rich marine hot spring near Jimei Beach, and the upcoming TUI Blue Keketuohai Sanbaisuo, the group’s first ski resort in China’s Altay Region with 23 slopes and plans for 80 trails. With these additions, TUI’s portfolio in Asia has grown to 25 hotels across eight countries, and the group has further expansion planned in Vietnam and Malaysia, targeting the increasing demand from Asian travellers seeking authentic holiday experiences.
