Toronto Pearson impacted due to outages with the systems airlines use to check in passengers at Terminal One and Three

Toronto, CA, 2014-1-13 — /travelprnews.com/ — Earlier today (January 11, 2014), operations at Toronto Pearson were impacted due to outages with the systems that airlines use to check in passengers at both Terminal One and Terminal Three.

As the service provider of these systems at Toronto Pearson, IBM technicians and IBM’s partners have been working with GTAA personnel to identify and implement solutions.

Air carriers have managed to continue checking-in passengers for their flights.

Toronto Pearson recommends that passengers with flights booked for today check in online if possible, and allow for extra time at the airport as it is expected that check-in at the counters will continue to be slow throughout the day.

IBM and the GTAA apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to passengers travelling out of Toronto Pearson today.
